Welcome students to what I hope will be one of the most enjoyable years of your educational experience! I am Ms. Baker, and I am so excited to be your English Language Arts and/or Intensive Reading instructor for this new academic school year. 

I am a native of Miami, Florida and attended local schools. Continuing my education at Florida State University, I received a Bachelors degree majoring in English with an emphasis in Literature and minored in Communications. Presently, I hold a Masters degree in Reading Education and an Educational Specialist degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. 

I look forward to working with all of you!!!  Students, I expect the very best from you, and in return I shall give you my very best! Get ready to work! Parents, I look forward to working together to help cultivate and foster academic growth within your child!
